WHY WORMWOOD?

Since 2006, we’ve built our distillery on a radical idea: reinventing classic spirits through bitters—specifically wormwood. Freed from its absinthe mythology, wormwood becomes approachable as a bitters, unlocking complexity. And after years of experimentation, we developed an entirely new way to distill with it.

Grown on our own farm in New York’s Orange County, our wormwood fuels a groundbreaking distillation method that gives classic spirits a depth never seen before. This process removes bitterness and reveals layers of complexity, unlocking flavors that feel both familiar and entirely new.

For more than 20 years, we’ve been crafting spirits, vermouths, aperitivi, amari, liqueurs, and bitters right here in Brooklyn, NY. We are the only distillery and full cocktail bar—perhaps in the world—that makes every ingredient in-house. The result: first-of-their-kind spirits and drinking experiences. The spirit shows itself—not through addition, but through unveiling what lies hidden within.
